BIT OF BACKGROUND FROM SOPHIE TEA
In 2019 we had 12 shows. 2020 you’re denying the exhibitions that I live for. I need that pressure. Who remembers the abstract challenge? It MADE my business. Basically I decided that every day for 100 days I would paint a new small painting. If you wanted to buy it all you had to do is be the first one to comment on my picture to say ‘mine’. It was the biggest thrill and I bloody kept to it! Every single day legends would set alarms to buy it! That was 2018. I have so many creative ideas all the time that I don’t wanna paint coz it doesn’t align with nudes or hearts. Lol idiot. Why not???!! WHO SAID I CAN’T... this is why I need a big challenge again!!! Maybe they won’t sell tho?! Scary but, I feel like to leap to the next level you always have to risk being embarrassed. NO shame is what you have to keep practicing as an artist. I have so much more to lose now then I did back then but the risks can’t stop if I want the money to get a bigger team, get a massive warehouse and make a sculpture out of pure silver Yano. SO, in a bid to get my head focused I pledge to paint a different small study every single day for 100 days. I’ll still be doing my drops (lol 😅) coz ya girl got a hot tub to heat. But this is my little passion project. Saving me and hopefully adding some fun to your Instagram feed xxx I love you xxxx HERE’S TO 100 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY!
HOW DO I GET ONE?
They will be posted on Instagram everyday at 8PM, starting from yesterday. So make sure you are refreshing Sophie’s page from 7:59PM, we had 5 in the first 30 seconds last night.
HOW MUCH IS A PIECE AND HOW DO YOU PAY?
Each piece is £2,500 and will be listed as a £100 deposit to secure your piece. This is to give you the option to pay the remainder in either instalments or in full. If you’d like to pay in instalments you will pay the £100 deposit and then £200 a month over 12 months. If you’d like to pay more over less months that’s also fine just let us know!
DO THE PIECES COME FRAMED?
YES they do! All pieces come in a beautiful hand made white frame. A lot of love goes into every frame and we honestly adore the finished look it gives the art.
WHAT ARE THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE PIECE?
They are 13”x13” Acrylic on Board
HOW LONG TILL I GET IT?
We ask you to allow 4 weeks as they come from Australia and your piece will only be shipped out once we receive your first monthly instalment payment.
IS IT SIGNED?
Yes all the pieces are signed! We often photograph the pieces before Sophie has signed them but don’t worry!
