Send Nudes Live

Four months have passed since Send Nudes Live at The London Palladium, and I’m still reflecting on the experience. It was incredibly cathartic to share my struggles with my body and to see how building this community has profoundly impacted my life. I am deeply grateful.

While my efforts may seem small compared to the extraordinary nudies on the catwalk, expressing myself through art rather than words has always been my path. Meeting each of you individually has felt like forming new friendships, so stepping onto a stage before 2,500 people was incredibly daunting. Yet, as soon as I stepped out, an overwhelming sense of calm washed over me. The initial fear quickly transformed into a sense of liberation.

Victoria, my muse, then graced the stage with unparalleled beauty, grace, and poise. Accompanied by an incredible choir, I had the privilege of painting her live. Usually, I spend hours planning and sketching, so creating a piece on stage was intense. The room's energy was palpable, and the painting was a resounding success. Victoria was breathtaking, moving to the music, her smile radiant.

Following this, I gained insight into the feelings of the nudies backstage as Amy, Natasha, and Robyn joined me to discuss their experiences. We talked about their relationships with their bodies and the entire Send Nudes Live journey. A week before the show, we did a nude shoot to help them build confidence and self-love. These photographs contributed to my largest painting yet, 'Sisterhood,' a stunning montage of diverse bodies, proudly revealed by the three women.

The highlight of the show was, of course, the nude catwalk. The ladies were phenomenal. The music was fantastic, each bringing their unique style to the runway, making the whole event beautiful. By the end, they had formed lasting bonds through this shared experience. It was a breathtaking spectacle, and I watched from the sidelines in absolute awe.
