We have an exciting product release this Sunday (10th) at 12pm.
“It’s OK, I’m Here’ is a unique collection of mixed media artworks. With a play on sculpture, fabric manipulation and holographic mediums the pieces create a distinctive collection. These artworks are completely different to anything ever done before by Sophie Tea.
THE STORY
I keep gravitating towards the word ‘OK’. It’s funny, because I’m in such a transitional phase with my artwork right now. It seems to be the only little thing I keep repeating in my head to keep me sane. That amongst all of the overwhelming self doubt, it’s OK, you’re OK and everything is going to be OK!!
I think that as an artist, I honestly believe this is one of the most important times in my career. How I can continue pushing myself artistically and evolve is a huge part of my story. I think it’s only right that the artwork honours these personal feelings of pressure and hesitation that come with change... (which are completely validdd!!!!!)
I have chosen to work with a holographic medium because I love it's changing nature when the light hits. Draping it across the ‘OK’ in a way that looks like water rippling, represents the changes happening in my life right now. I named the piece ‘IT’S OK, I’M HERE’ as it sounds to me like a loved one offering support. That’s why it was important to me that it was set in a heavy pool of resin because it feels so grounding amongst the chaos.
Coming up with this concept was so much fun, but that feeling after months of experimenting and fails.
It's THATTTTTT feeling that you bloooooody cracked it!
I’m proud of this piece and I can’t wait for my collectors to enjoy this forever.

What are they?
These original artworks are a collection of 50 editions. Each piece has been individually created by hand. A manipulation of fabric lays on top of custom sculpted letters which are then hand finished with resin and holographic mediums. The pieces are left exposed to create a sculptural, glassy finish. Due to the handmade nature of this artwork each edition will vary slightly and is therefore completely unique.

Bespoke open grain frame included, available in both black or white to suit your home.
Can I pay in monthly instalments?
Yes, you can! There is an option to pay for your piece in 12 monthly instalments of £150. Your first payment will be taken at purchase. Each month after, the same monthly payment will automatically come out of your account on the same date! Your piece will be sent out straight away, so no need to wait.
I want to pay in full, can I?
Yes there will be an option to pay in full too.
How long is delivery?
You can expect your special delivery within 6-8 weeks of placing your order. We’ll make sure to send you regular shipping updates as soon as your piece is on it’s way to you. Don’t worry, if you’re not in, there are options to amend your delivery!
These pieces will be available to purchase from 12pm (BST) Sunday.
