The Tea team are off…..to DUBAI!
We are soo excited to have the opportunity to collaborate with ME hotel for the second time! This time in Dubai, where Sophie’s work will be displayed in the striking setting of ‘The Atrium’ by Zaha Hadid.
THE ‘ATRIUM’
This really is a dream come true. Sophie has always been inspired by the architectural works of Hadid which makes this even more special.
The ‘Atrium’ is said to ‘ignite the senses with its uplifting soundscape and mezmerizing lighting that transforms the ambiance of this incredible space from day to night.’
Not only is the space beautiful to look at but you also experience a cast of talented musical artists, including the resident Saxophonist and flamenco guitarist whilst you’re there!
SEPTEMBER 30TH- ME x Tea Dubai, limited edition exhibition
The exhibition is in support of Breast Cancer awareness month and will feature an array of Sophie's works! Including works from her last exhibition ‘Love doesn’t Stop’.
The display will be complemented by a contemporary Afternoon Tea, with a twist! The Tea party, curated by Executive Chef, James Knight-Pacheo will have a pink-inspired menu and Pacheo will even be serving it dressed in his suit splatted by Sophie herself!
Yes it will be boujie.
Sophie’s work will then be displayed for the month of October.
LIVE PAINTING - 1ST-5TH OCTOBER
From the 1st-5th October Sophie will be painting LIVE from 8pm-10pm UK time (5pm-7pm Dubai time) This will take place In the Atrium itself!!!
A massive shoutout to Gone Rogue London who helped curate this exhibition! They are the best! Gone Rogue London is a collaborative which focus on bringing art to as many lives as possible. They find spaces to create experiences with art, supporting both established and emerging artists.
