Heyyyyyy,

Sooooo I went to Provence for two weeks with my family and friends and painted a 250-painting collection, Postcards from Provence, which was then stolen out of our car in Marseille on the way to the airport. It's been an insane week trying to get them back, pacing the streets and sitting in police stations and checking every bin I could find, and they're still lost.

Anyway I'm actually now in Australia with family and having had a few days here to reflect, even though I'm heartbroken that those paintings are gone, I've realised that the most important things are still here. I'm so grateful for all the memories and to have my loved ones home safe, so I'm re-painting the WHOLE collection.

They'll be different, and I think even more special, because what I'm painting isn't the pieces that were stolen out of a car, it's the memories from one of the most special times in my life - the rolling hills and the lakes and the olive trees, the unbelievable light that's so vibrant all day and then goes dusty and soft by the evening, sitting outside painting from breakfast until it went dark, everyone I love most in one place for once. Those are the things I'm putting into these paintings and no one can ever take those away.

The colours and the feelings are still in my head and I'm getting them out. I just need a bit more time to make them perfect, so they're now coming to you on Sunday 27 September at 12pm (BST).
