Heyyyyyy,
Sooooo some of you will know it's been a bit of a mad few weeks - I spent two weeks in Provence with my family and friends painting Postcards from Provence, and then the whole collection of 250 paintings was stolen out of our car in Marseille on the way to the airport. They're still gone, but having had some time to reflect I've realised the most important things were never in that car, so I've been re-painting the WHOLE collection, and honestly I think it's even more special this time round.
Because what I'm painting now isn't the pieces that were taken, it's the memories themselves - the rolling hills and the lakes and the olive trees, the unbelievable light that's so vibrant all day and then goes dusty and soft by the evening, sitting outside painting from breakfast until it went dark, everyone I love most in one place for once. Painting it all again has meant getting to live those two weeks twice, and every piece has come out with a little bit more of that feeling in it than the first time.
I'm feeling so grateful whilst making them again... art literally saves me every SINGLE time. And I can't wait for them to be all yours because I really have poured my heart and soul into these. They're dropping this Sunday (27 September) at 12pm (BST) 🩷
