THE STORY

I'm so excited to announce I’m launching a mini original collection of personal moments from my family holiday - Postcards from Sicily.

I was counting down to this trip since I booked it in January. It's been a whirlwind year and I’ve been craving a chance to pause soooo badly. I dunnooo, I loveee SO many parts of being an artist, but in the last 6 months I’ve been so busy… but not busy painting!! I think this break made me realise that my priorities have been a tiny bit out of whack xx

I don’t know whether any other creatives/artists feel like this, but because I love painting so much, it feels weirdly indulgent… I actually make sure all of my non-painting work is done before I give myself the gift of being creative. And I think that’s a bit wrong. Because when I de-prioritise my art, it shows in all areas of my life. Even personal life, I actually get kinda moody when I haven’t had my painting fix, haha. Sorry I’m blabbing on but like art actually saves me, every time.

Postcards from Sicily are small abstract originals inspired by the Italian landscape and the joy of time away with loved ones xx

I have these pieces to thank for my epiphany: SOPHIE JUST BLOODY PAINT MORE!!

This is so chaotically last minute and I haven’t done an original drop in over 2 years but I need these pieces to find their forever homes!! I hope you love them.

Love you lots, Soph xx
P.S. My mum has already shotgunned 3 of them.
